Ever since its establishment in 1877, Wimbledon, known as the most traditional of the four Grand Slam tennis tournaments, has enforced a strict dress code that mandates players to don all-white outfits. Furthermore, guidelines limit the number of logos permissible on sleeves, headbands, socks, and bags. It was precisely in regard to this latter stipulation that Jack Sinner garnered attention when he boldly defied the age-old tradition upon setting foot on the center court. As the 21-year-old Italian tennis player, ranked 8th in the world, also serves as a brand ambassador for Gucci, he made an appearance carrying a specially crafted Gucci bag, necessitating three special permissions. This incident perhaps overshadowed the fact that Sinner fulfilled his role as a Gucci ambassador excellently by defeating his opponent in straight sets!
