Alexander Mcqueen Fall/Winter 2020
Inspired by Northern landscapes, Henry Moore’s drawings and Art Nouveau; Alexander McQueen’s Fall/Winter 2020 collection transcends organic abstraction and the restrained elegance of modernism as well as the windswept bare earth stripped bare.
This collection features a wide variation, of materials and looks and we are impressed of the outcome. We want to recommend a few pieces that really caught our attention. Check out the double-breasted overcoats and tailored suits that are precision cut with sharp darted panels in flint grey and coal black.
Coats and jackets in grey sharkskin mohair.
Coats and jackets in black wool and camel.
A bonded coat in mineral suede.
Tailored evening jackets and overcoats gleam with abstract markmaking, molten metal ores and engineered art nouveau iris silver bullion embroidery.
You have probably noticed that we have focused on jackets and coats from this collection, but we could not help it since that is our favourite field in fashion. Alexander McQueen’s collection has some truly unique looks and have made us (even if it is a long time until then) looking forward to the fall and winter of 2020.
