Audemars Piguet x Carolina Bucci
As a celebration of Audemars Piguet’s 50th anniversary of its Royal Oak watch, the Swiss watchmaker has let the Italian jewelry designer Carolina Bucci put her fine touch to the iconic model. With her reverence for craftsmanship and executed elegance, Bucci has added her distinctive design aesthetics to this Royal Oak model which manifests itself in the unique sapphire dial for example; seen from far away it appears to be black but if you come close, it showcases a colorful spectra. This 34 mm Selfwinding Royal Oak furthermore features several pink-gold details such as a 22-carat oscillating weight, screws and markers. The watch also has “Limited Edition Carolina Bucci” engraved on its sapphire and titanium caseback and comes with a specially limited-edition box designed by Bucci. This is the third time Carolina Bucci has collaborated with Audemars Piguet and we can fully understand why the watchmaker continues to partner up with her as the watch models they create together are just marvelous!
