As the major football league’s season has now started (La Liga, Premier League, Bundesliga, Ligue 1 and Serie A) we can see Messi playing in Adidas boots, Ronaldo playing in Nike boots and Neymar playing in Puma boots. But who are we going to see playing with Balenciaga boots?

Well, this is somewhat a farfetched idea to say the least but it is now, theoretically, a possibility as Balenciaga will offer a “Soccer” sneaker. The Balenciaga Soccer sneaker is made for everyday wear but is based on “real” soccer shoes with round spiked soles, technical leather free materials, and an elastic foldable tongue on the top of the sneaker. Balenciaga Soccer is available from the brand’s website and in selected stores around the world retailing at £595, so we encourage you to go and check it out because this is actually a really cool idea. We probably won’t get to see any of the football stars playing in Balenciaga soccer shoes, but we hope we can see you playing in them or at least see you being the most daring fashionista walking the streets wearing them!
