Da Vinci of Debt by Natural Light - The World's Most Expensive Artwork
In 2017, Salvator Mundi by Leonardo Da Vinci became the world’s most expensive artwork as it was sold at Christie’s for $450 million US. However, between 14-16 January this year there was an installation on display at New York City’s Grand Central terminal made by Natural Light which is valued at a record breaking sum of $470 million US. The innovative installation, that puts light on the college debt issue in America, is called Da Vinci of Debt and consists of 2 600 college diplomas, each valued at approximately $180 000 US each.
