Daniel Arsham- “Sands of Time”
The American artist Daniel Arsham has created some fascinating sculptures with aesthetics of fictional archaeology that can be seen in the exhibition “Sands of Time” which is held in Qinhuangdao, China until October 10 at the UCCA Dune Museum. The location is beautiful where Arsham’s works are perfectly placed around real and fabricated sand (probably, hence the name of the exhibition) as well as the ocean in the background. Unearthed Bronze Eroded Melpomene (2021) which is one of the largest sculptures from the artist who has previously collaborated with brands such as Porsche, Adidas and Dior is on display at the exhibition.
