Dior x Travis Scott- Cactus Jack Dior
For Dior’s Summer 2022 Collection, artistic director Kim Jones has taken inspiration from Dior’s connection to Texas, as Christian himself went to America to celebrate his first collection in 1947 and the first stop was, yes you guessed it, Texas. Therefore, the collaboration with Texas-born rapper, singer/songwriter and record producer Travis Scott is a perfect match for the Summer 2022 collection called Cactus Jack Dior. The collection explores the identities of one of the biggest musicians at the moment and the heritage of the iconic Parisian couture houses. The Cactus Jack Dior collection features tailoring that flares fluid trousers, high waists, narrow armholes and slim overcoats. The collection also features leather souvenir jackets, adorn bags, sportswear and sneakers and Scott has reimagined the Dior logotype with a series of hand drawn graphics that is put on the pieces.
