Kurt Cobain's Guitar from "Smells Like Teen Spirit"

Kurt Cobain’s guitar which was used during the recording of the albums “Nevermind” and “In Utero” as well as can be seen in Nirvana’s “Smells Like Teen Spirit” music video was recently sold at Julien’s Auctions. The legend’s 1969 Fender Mustang guitar was initially estimated to fetch around $600,000 US but the final bid got a lot higher than that. The iconic guitar, which is perhaps one of the most important in all of rock music, was sold for approximately 4.5 million US! Some of the proceeds is going to be donated to “Kicking The Stigma” which is an initiative that does the incredibly important job of raising awareness about mental health disorders and its stigmas and hopefully a lot of people will benefit from this donation.
