Louis Vuitton's Les Extraits Fragrance Collection with Frank Gehry
The French maison Louis Vuitton has for its Les Extraits Fragrance Collection collaborated with Frank Gehry for the design of the fragrance bottles. Gehry is an award-winning architect that we previously have written about, latest in our article about his building called “The Tower” in Arles, France. Another iconic design on his resume that we have covered is the Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao. Gehry’s fragrance bottle for Louis Vuitton’s Les Extraits Fragrance Collection alters the lines of the original shape, with curves that suggest a transparent sail skimming through space. The bottle that comes in fragrances such Symphony, Rhapsody and Dancing Blossom takes the form of an imaginary metal flower, where the cap reflects sea and spray.
