Pablo Picasso's personal watch was recently sold

Well, this watch has some provenance to say the least. The watch in subject for this article is no other than Pablo Picasso’s stainless steel Michael Z. Berger watch. The Swiss watch is from 1960 and features Picasso’s name in connection to the hour marker. The special watch, which was worn by Pablo in his iconic portraits by Cecil Beaton, was recently sold at Bonhams for $267,000 USD which was around 20 times more than what it was expected to fetch. The lucky owner of Pablo Picasso’s personal watch will litterary have a piece of art on his or her wrist and we imagine that a bigger inspiration to start with a new canvas is hard to find!
