Pharrell is the new Menswear Creative Director at Louis Vuitton

After a lot of rumors and speculations, Louis Vuitton recently revealed that its new Menswear Creative Director is none other than Pharell Williams. In fact, the multi-talented creator has previously collaborated with the French maison in 2004 and 2008 but this time his appointment is of a different magnitude. As Virgil Abloh redirected LV and redefined modern luxury with his ambition that his creative designs would be for all of us, we imagine that Williams feels the pressure on his shoulders to build on Abloh’s legacy and take LV into the future. Pharell is no rookie though, he has for example co-launched Billionaires Boys Club as well as done collaborations with adidas, Moncler and Tiffany & Co. Well, it will be very interesting to see which path Pharell will take Louis Vuitton on and we look forward to seeing what the future holds. We however think that he will do a good job because (pun alert): he’s happy!
