Saint Laurent recently presented its Spring/Summer 2023 collection against a stunning backdrop in the Agafay desert in Morocco. As Marrakech was a source of inspiration for the brand’s founder Yves Saint Laurent, Anthony Vaccarello (who is the Creative Director of Saint Laurent) arranged the runway in the Agafay desert to symbolize the maison’s past while visualizing the future for fashion. The collection was presented at a mirrored circular stage against sand dune backdrops where Saint Laurent’s signature aesthetics could be seen through pieces such as silk tops, trench coats, black satin suits, velvet pants and furs just to name a few.
