The British Formula 1 driver had an incredible last year. He did not only win his 7th F1 world title, tying Michael Schumachers’ record and surpassing him in all-time F1 wins (95), he also became a strong voice of the black lives matter movement and was voted as the sportsman of the year in the UK by the people. As a recognition of his incredible success on the track and as a spokesperson for equality, anti-racism and human rights he got knighted this New Year, making him the fourth ever F1 driver to receive this recognition. So, nothing more to say really than: congratulations to your achievements, Sir Lewis Hamilton!
