Snøhetta x Norwegian Football Team

Snøhetta has unveiled two visionary designs for the Norwegian National Football team’s new training grounds in Asker and Ski outside Oslo, celebrating the country’s Nordic heritage with a blend of traditional architecture and modern design. The Norwegian architectural firm, which gained international recognition in 1989 when it won the competition for the library in Alexandria, has incorporated elements like the Norwegian Long House, with sleek, organic forms crafted from renewable materials.

This project promises to transform the cities into new landmarks while honoring Norway’s heritage and paving the way for the future of football which makes us think Manchester City’s Erling Haaland and Arsenals’ Martin Ødergaard will be very happy about!
