The 1941 Grönograaf by Grönefeld
The horological brothers Bart and Tim Grönefeld are the third generation of the Grönefeld family that manages the Dutch watchmaker’s legacy. They continue that fine legacy that Johan Grönefeld started in 1912, with a mission to create sophisticated and elegant watches with surprising mechanisms that belong to the best in the world. The 1941 Grönograaf is the first chronograph by Grönefeld and it features some very interesting and innovative details such as the centrifugal governor that sits at 4 o’clock and the Lancette hands that express the time with trapezoidal indexes. The 1941 Grönograaf Tantalum was limited to only 25 pieces and is already sold out byt the 1941 Grönograaf Stainless Steel is limited to 188 pieces so if you are interested in purchasing it you don’t have time to think about it (pun intended) but prepare to dig deep in your wallet as it comes with a price of around $157,500 US!
