The ‘Wolf of Wall Street’ Lambo is for sale

An iconic vehicle with a storied past is now set to make an appearance at an upcoming auction. The Lamborghini Countach 25th Anniversary, famous for its role alongside Leonardo Di Caprio in ‘The Wolf of Wall Street’ will be up for sale at RM Sotheby's New York event in December. In fact, two authentic cars were used during filming and one of them was actually crashed in the scene where Leonardo DiCaprio's character, Jordan Belfort, attempted to drive while under the influence of drugs. Unlike its ill-fated counterpart, the Lamborghini Countach being offered for sale remains in impeccable condition. Originally produced in 1988 this particular model received a redesign from the renowned Italian automotive executive and designer Horacio Pagani, boasting a top speed of 295 km/h. Enthusiasts and collectors alike will have a chance to bid on this rare and well-preserved piece of automotive history and RM Sotheby's estimates the presale value to be somewhere between $1.5 million and $2 million US!
