The Japanese distillery Suntory has announced that its famous Yamazaki 25 years aged whisky returns. The amber nyanced blend with complex notes has been aged in American oaks, Spanish oaks and Japanese Mizunara for at least 25 years and according to Chief Blender Shinji Fukuyo, the inspiration comes from 1984’s limited edition Yamasaki single malt. The demand for Japanese whisky is high in general and for age marked Yamazaki in particular, so as this comeback for the Reformulated Yamazaki 25 years aged is no different, the price is therefore $2000 US!
