Arctic Bath, the floating hotel and spa

For those of you searching for a combination of  adventure and relaxing, we want to promote the wilderness in the north of Sweden and present a unique hotel and spa experience in the middle of this nature: Arctic Bath.

Opening in January next year, it will be an oasis of wellness and design, floating in the heart of Swedish Lapland, more closely in the small village Harads. During the (cold!) winter, the guests can observe the aurora borealis from the frozen Lule älv, where the hotel is situated and during summer the guest can be fascinated by the midnight sun. The location offers quite unique environmental differences and possibilities, depending on the season, that have few comparisons.

Arctic Bath offers a wide range of activities, but the incommon theme amongst them is wildlife. Moose safari, ice fishing, snowshoe hiking and bear spotting under the midnight sun are some of the activities that you can book via the hotel.

Arctic Bath also welcomes guests to immerse themselves in the elements while leaving a minimal environmental footprint behind, and the spa treatments offered, are focused on the inside as well as the outside.

For example, let an open-air cold bath under the northern sky revitalize you from the inside out as you take in the surrounding elements or just disconnect your mind and enjoy an arctic body massage.

After enjoying a day of wildlife experiences and relaxing spa treatments, a dinner influenced by the surrounding nature and a menu solo focusing on local commodities will be a worthy ending on such a fascinating day.

Even though you’ll lay you head indoors at night, the surrounding nature is incorporated into the cabins and suites. Natural, sustainable materials with a rich history such as wood, stone, leather and luxurious textiles harmonize together with Scandinavian design makes this hotel your perfect hide-away under the northern skies.

It obviously feels good to promote Sweden (since we are from Gothenburg), and Arctic Bath in this case but we are not biased when describing this, again, unique spa hotel. The Telegraph ranked that Arctic Bath will be one of the ten best spa hotels in the world!
