Aston Martin’s F1 Comeback
After some 60 years the British automaker Aston Martin finally returns to the Formula One scene. The former team Racing Point has now become the Aston Martin F1 Team as a part of Lawrence Stroll’s huge financial investment in Aston Martin last year, and what better way to promote and highlight an automaker than in the Formula One circus, right?
The drivers who will compete in the Aston Martin AMR21 Formula One car are Lance Stroll (Lawrence’s son) and Sebastian Vettel (joining from Ferrari). The AMR21 is (sort of) the successor of the Aston Martin DBR4 and DBR5 which were the cars competing at the circuits in 1959-1960. So we keep our fingers crossed, for one of our favourite automakers, and leave this article by saying good luck to Aston Martin and the AMR21 in F1!
