Bugatti’s previous supercars Veyron, Chiron and Divo are all some of the utmost luxurious raw beasts you can imagine. However, in comparison to Bugatti’s new race track supercar Bolide, they can’t compete. The new Bugatti Bolide is something else really. To lose the weight down to only 1240 kg, Bugatti has used titan screws, ceramic brakes, carbon fiber monocoque and in principle all the carossparts are made from carbon fiber.

In fact, the Bugatti Bolide is lighter than a Toyota Corolla Hatchback for example. Bugatti has put in a W16, 8- litres engine with four turbo aggregates in the Bolide which develops 1850 BHP and 1850 newton metres. Just a short reiteration: 1850 BHP in a car that weighs 1240 kg! According to Bugatti’s measurements the Bolide does 0-100 km/h in 2.17 seconds and 0-500 km/h in 20.16 seconds. Well, the extreme supercar is yet a concept car but Bugatti has built it under the FIA- rules so hopefully we will see it on the race track sooner or later. We can conclude that Bugatti has undeniably taken the meaning of the word supercar to the next level with its Bolide!
