Thomas Bangalter and Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo are two of the most renowned artists in the world yet inkognito for many of us. However, behind their outfits and masks they are better known as Daft Punk. A name they took after a review in a magazine stating that their music - as their former band Darlin played - was a “bunch of daft punk”. Daft Punk is one of the greatest pioneers of electronic dance music, and has heavily influenced superstar artists such as David Guetta, Swedish House Mafia and the late Avicii. So, it is quite sad news that the French duo now are splitting up but what a great music legacy they have left us with. Hits such as Get Lucky feat. Pharell, One More Time, Around the World as well as I Feel It Coming and Starboy together with The Weeknd. On that note, let’s start the week off with music from the legendary Daft Punk!
