One of the biggest Pablo Picasso auctions ever
The hotel Bellagio in Las Vegas has been the host for some legendary high stakes gambling as well as movies such as Oceans 11, but will also soon be the host for one of the biggest Picasso auctions ever, with a total of 11 Picasso works for sale. The paintings are owned by the MGM resorts and in fact, several of the canvases have hung at Bellagio’s Picasso Restaurant. Among these incredible 11 works, one of them is Femme au Béret Rouge-Orange from 1938 that depicts Picasso’s lover Thérèse Walter, and the combined estimated fetch for this Pablo Picasso collection is around $100 million US, so make sure you stay alert on October 23 when the auction starts!
