The Geneva Watch Auction: XIII
About a month from now, on May 8-9, the Geneva Watch Auction: XIII will be held where some incredible watches from the finest watchmakers in the world will be up for sale. But it won’t be cheap as you imagine. To mention a few of the exquisite watches that come with an astronomus price tag, we can start with the beautiful Patek Philippe tourneau-cased Ref. 5950 split second chronograph in pink gold and matching dial. It is expected to fetch between $215,120 – $430,240 USD and a - one of 25 ever made - platinum and pink gold skeletonized perpetual calendar Royal Oak from Audemars Piguet is expected to fetch $64,500 – $129,000 USD. Moreover, there is a glorious Richard Mille watch featured in the auction. A red RM022, from the Tourbillon Aerodyne Dual Time Red-White-Blue series which is expected to fetch between $269,000 – $537,800 USD. Unfortunately we forgot to save our last (50+) salaries so we won’t be able to put a bid on these fine watches at the Geneva Watch Auction: XIII.. Damn!
