On RM Sotheby’s auction in Paris on the first of February, a special Porsche will be up for sale. This rare 1964 Porsche 904 GTS was the first example of only 108 made and the model participated in several GT events in the mid 60s’ such as the 1964, 1965, and 1966 World Sportscar Championships as well as being the class winner of the 1965 Nürburgring 1000 km; later driven to 1st place at the 1966 Austrian Hillclimb. The incredible car in subject for the auction is in exquisite condition and features, apart from its marvelous looks, an engine that boasts 260 BHP, racing seats and vintage Dunlop tires for example. As this 1964 Porsche 904 GTS is such a rarity, the new owner will have to reach deep into his or her pockets because of the almost equally rare price tag of more than $2 million US!
