This day, two years ago was a tragic day. We were absolutely devistated when we found out that our biggest idol, Avicii, had past away only 28 years old. So many loving words about Tim and his music has been said by his family, friends co-producers and fans from all over the world. Beautiful tributes have also been made around the world, from the biggest festivals, to churches, to the live tribute concert at Friends Arena in Stockholm on the December 5th last year, that really teared us up and was, honestly, quite hard to watch.
So why are a we, who even did not know Tim personally, writing about this then? Well, because of this day, we just want to express our admiration for Tim and his music. It is weird how a person that you have never met could affect you so much. Through his music he has been “with” us from happy party vibes to sad dark places. We, together with all other Avicii fans, have had so many memories through his songs and will continuing creating new memories, listening to them over and over again. That we can promise. It is funny that, in our opinion, he has so many golden tracks that we actually can’t pick one favourite.

Tim’s parents started The Tim Bergling Foundation, to honour their son and to ensure that Avicii’s legacy is used to help. The foundation will advocate for the recognition of suicide as a global health emergency and promote removing the stigma attached to the discussion of mental health issues. It will support science-based organizations that engage in research into the causes and prevention of suicide, particularly for young people.

To end this text, we just want to say that we are still so sad that Tim is gone, but yet grateful that his music is not, and never will be. Tack Tim.
